SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used for rapid measurement of frequency of continuous microwave signals in a wide frequency range. Essence of the disclosed solution lies in the fact that a broadband frequency meter for microwave signals is made in several versions. In the first case, this device consisting of series-connected input amplifier-limiter, band-pass microwave filter, first divider of microwave power by N, N frequency multipliers, which inputs are connected to outputs of power divider by N, N phase detectors, which outputs are connected to a computing device, characterized by that it further includes an N-port microwave power adder, the inputs of which are connected to corresponding outputs of the frequency multipliers, the in-phase microwave power divider by two, input of which is connected to output of N-port adder of microwave power, wherein one of outputs of in-phase microwave dual-port power divider by two is connected to first input of in-phase double-port microwave power adder, and second output is to input of delay line, output of delay line is connected to second input of in-phase dual-port adder of microwave power, output of the in-phase double-port microwave power adder is connected to the input of the second microwave power divider by N, outputs of the second microwave power divider at N are connected to corresponding band-pass filters, the total number of which is N, the outputs of the band-pass filters are connected to the inputs of the corresponding phase correlators.
EFFECT: technical result when implementing the disclosed group of solutions is to reduce the cumbersomeness of the device by using a single delay line with preliminary conversion of the frequency of the input signal by dividing and / or multiplying and subsequent frequency division of signals.
