FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used for rapid measurement of frequency of continuous and pulsed microwave signals in a wide frequency range. Technical result is achieved by preliminary multiplication of the frequency of the input signal in a known number of times, which enables to reduce the required time delay of the delay line by the same factor.
EFFECT: technical result when implementing disclosed solution is reduction of cumbersomeness with preservation of measurement accuracy.
