SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to high-modulus fiberglass compositions, in particular, to high-modulus fiberglass compositions, which can be used as reinforcing material of base for improved composites, as well as to glass fibre and composite material therefrom. High-modulus fiberglass composition, as well as glass fibre and composite material therefrom. Fiberglass composition contains the following components, the content of which is expressed in weight percent: SiO2 55.7–58.9; Al2O3 15–19.9; Y2O3 0.1–4.3; La2O3 is less than or equal to 1.5; CeO2 0.05–1.2; CaO 6–10; MgO 9.05–9.95; SrO is less than or equal to 2; Li2O+Na2O+K2O 0.4–0.94; Li2O is less than or equal to 0.65; Fe2O3 is less than 1; TiO2 0.1–1.5; where the weight range of the weight ratio C1 = Y2O3/(Y2O3 + La2O3 + CeO2) is 0.75–0.97, the range of total content of La2O3 + CeO2, expressed in weight percent, is 0.1–2, weight percent ratio range C2 = SiO2/CaO and range of 5.8–9.3 mass percentage C3 = MgO/(CaO + SrO) is 0.9–1.6.

EFFECT: technical result is significant improvement of elasticity of glass, considerable reduction of liquidus temperature and glass forming temperature, considerable reduction of melting glass crystallization rate and number of bubbles under same conditions.
