FIELD: textiles.

SUBSTANCE: proposed in the invention is a composition of electronic-grade fibreglass, as well as fibreglass and electronic textile made therefrom, intended for use as a base material for printed circuit boards. Proposed composition of electronic-grade fibreglass contains the following components, expressed as percentages by weight: 54.2 to 60 SiO2, 11 to 17.5 Al2O3, 0.7 to 4.5 B2O3, 18 to 23.8 CaO, 1 to 5.5 MgO, 24.8 or less CaO+MgO, less than 1 Na2O+K2O+Li2O, 0.05 to 0.8 TiO2, 0.05 to 0.7 Fe2O3, and 0.01 to 1.2 F2; wherein the ratio of mass percentages C1=SiO2/(RO+R2O) is greater than or equal to 2.20, the ratio of mass percentages K2O/Na2O is greater than or equal to 0.75, and the total mass percentage of the above components is greater than or equal to 98.5%.

EFFECT: proposed composition has an advantage consisting in a low cost and high corrosion resistance; it can improve the electrical properties, in particular, dielectric properties of glass, as well as enhance the mechanical properties, water impermeability and acid resistance of glass; such a composition can also significantly reduce the evaporation of raw materials and minimise the corrosion of fire-resistant materials; therefore, the proposed composition is suitable for large-scale production in tank furnaces.
