FIELD: training simulators; sport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sports training apparatus and can be used in training process when preparing swimmers in conditions of sports pool. Floor standing water weight machine consists of frame, which has U-shape. On the U-shaped frame horizontal part movable rollers are fixed from below. Two wheel supports with casters with brakes are welded on at the bottom on vertical parts of U-shaped frame from behind. Legs are welded at the bottom in the front perpendicular to vertical parts of the U-shaped frame and parallel to the floor, which are U-shaped structure with two crossbeams. On front surface of vertical parts of U-shaped frame and to vertical parts of legs are welded two L-shaped structures on both sides. L-shaped structures in middle part are connected by horizontal crossbar. Above the crossbar L-shaped structures are welded to metal handles directed forward, the ends of metal handles are rubberized. Through the movable rollers there passes is a cord with diameter of 6 mm, at one end of which there is a belt, and the other end is configured to attach to it loads from 1 to 8, each of which has weight of 2.5 kg, places of cargo arrangement are closed with protective screens fixed on vertical parts of frame, wherein front screen is divided into two parts, and rear protective screen is represented by one sheet.

EFFECT: device makes it possible to improve speed-power training of a sportsman in water both during swimming on elements (on hands, on legs), and in coordination, besides, it has high wear-resistance, as all metal elements are made of galvanized steel or coated with polymer coating, all parts with which water contacts are made of high-quality plastic – rotating rollers, supports are made from plastic with high wear resistance to wear.
