FIELD: medical and technical information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical and technical information technologies, namely to creation of three-dimensional models in dentistry. Disclosed is a method in which at the first stage, scanning of at least ½ crown of each separate tooth is performed in process of eruption to create and preserve a three-dimensional base model of their natural shape. At the stage of formation of dentoalveolar apparatus with destruction of at least one tooth using a three-dimensional base model of a specific tooth, their natural shape is restored, and if observing the presence of indications, an orthodontic correction is performed. Fully formed by 17–21 dentoalveolar apparatus is scanned, obtained digital three-dimensional model of formed dentoalveolar apparatus with preserved natural shape of all teeth, their arrangement in dentitions and ratio of jaws as a whole are entered into data base.
EFFECT: invention provides accurate information on the natural form of teeth and jaws without acquired defects.
