RECEIVING SENSOR FOR MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING OF HAND Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B5/55 G01R33/36

Abstract RU 2738132 C1

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical physics, specifically to a receiving magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) sensor for receiving and collecting a nuclear magnetic resonance signal, and can be used to obtain a magnetic resonance imaging of a patient's hand in a specialized small traumatology tomograph. Hand-held radio-frequency sensor for hand resonance magnetic resonance tomography comprises a receiving radio-frequency coil comprising a winding of conductors electrically connected in parallel to one another and having electrical connection of conductors with magnetic resonance imaging equipment and arranged on hollow carcass oval cross section, sizes of axles of which are in ratio 2:1.5. At that, the turns are oriented orthogonal relative to the longitudinal axis of the frame, are non-uniformly located, and the distance between turns is optimized by calculation. Radio-frequency sensor coil comprises winding of eight turns, and the distance between the pairs of turns symmetrical relative to the plane of symmetry of the sensor parallel to the coils, counting from the central to the outermost ones, are in the following ratio: 1:2.75:5:5.

EFFECT: use of this invention enables to obtain high-resolution magnetic resonance images for specific areas of interest without the need to move a radio-frequency sensor.
