SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system and a method for treating a liquid, involving chemical treatment with radiation-based disinfecting unit. Method involves obtaining chemically treated liquid, passing it through a nano bubbles generator to obtain a liquid containing nanobubbles, treating a liquid containing nanobubbles, disinfecting radiation to obtain the resultant liquid, and outputting resultant fluid for use. Liquid treatment system comprises a liquid source, a chemical treatment station for analyzing the chemical composition of the initial liquid, nano bubbles generator, hydraulically connected to the chemical treatment station, radiation-based disinfective unit (RDU), hydraulically connected to the nano bubbles generator, where the liquid with nanobubbles is exposed to radiation and the treated liquid is formed; pump for obtaining fluid flow through system and outlet through which treated fluid flows. Radiation represents ultraviolet radiation.
EFFECT: lower zeta potential for colloidal coagulation and flocculation, higher ORP for control over biological compounds, absence or reduction of potential of biological or chemical contamination.
