FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an optical cleaning cartridge and a method for automated cleaning of optical components of analytical tools. Device for cleaning an optical component in an analytical module, configured to analyse samples located during analysis in a removable cartridge, using an optical component comprises a cleaning cartridge frame configured to receive and hold the cartridge receiver an analytical module which is configured to receive and retain the removable cartridge; and one or more optical cleaning units, wherein each of the optical cleaning units comprises: an absorbing cleaning cloth and a pliable support structure protruding from the surface of the cleaning cartridge frame and located between the cleaning cartridge frame and at least a portion of the cleaning wipe.
EFFECT: technical result is improvement of optical components cleaning results, including in systems where manual cleaning is performed by "blind" method.
