SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to a handle assembly and a suturing device comprising a handle assembly. Handle assembly to start the stapling apparatus includes a first handle and a second handle, a first pivot pin, a first torsional spring, a handle release member, a sliding groove and a slider. First pivot pin is rigidly attached to the casing of the stapling apparatus and passes through the first handle and the second handle. First torsion spring is fixed by a coupling on the first hinge, and two ends of the first torsion spring, accordingly, are engaged with the casing of the stapling device and the second handle. Handle release element is located between the first handle and the body of the stapling apparatus and resets the first handle when releasing the external force. Sliding groove is located on the first handle or on the second handle and contains the first section and the second section connected to each other. Slider is located with possibility of sliding in slide groove. When the slider is located in the first section of sliding slot, the first handle and the second handle are not connected. When the slider is located in the second section of the slip groove, the first handle and the second handle are connected by means of a slider. Suturing device includes said assembled handle.

EFFECT: inventions are characterized by that the first handle and the second handle rotate about the same rotational center in an inoperative state and in a state of operation, which provides high stability of the structure of the stapling apparatus and improves the quality of operation of the operator.
