SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to a handle assembly and a suturing apparatus comprising said assembly. Handle unit for actuating the stapling apparatus comprises a first handle and a second handle. One end of the first handle is pivotally attached to one end of the second handle, and when the first and second handles are not engaged with each other, the second handle is in a safety position, and when the first and second handles are engaged, rotation of the first handle in the first direction moves the second handle from the safety position to the actuating position. First handle on its one end has the first limiting part, and the second handle has the second limiting part at its one end. First limiting part is located on the side of the proximal end of the second limiting part. When the first handle is in the initial position, the second limiting part is in interaction with the first limiting part so that the rotation of the first handle in the second direction is blocked. Suturing apparatus comprises the above handle assembly.
EFFECT: invention is characterized by that the handle assembly limits the angular deviation of the first handle in the initial position, increases the accuracy of the first handle setting and limits the initial position of the second handle.
