SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to a handle assembly and a stapling apparatus comprising said assembly. Handle unit for actuating the stapling apparatus comprises a first handle member and a second handle. First element of the handle has a groove, which contains connected to each other the first section and the second section and in which slider is located with the possibility of sliding. One end of the slider has a first limiting structure, and one end part of the second slot section has a second limiting structure, and between first restricting structure and second limiting structure there is a compression spring. Second handle, the first end of which is connected to the first element of the handle. When the slider is in the first slot section and the first handle element rotates in the first direction, the slider is not in contact with the second handle and the second handle is not turned. When the slider is moved into the second slot section by the external force and the first handle member rotates in the first direction, compression spring is deformed and slider is in contact with second handle and actuates second handle for its rotation. When the external force does not act on the slider, the force of the compression spring returns the slider in motion to return to the initial position. Stapling apparatus comprises the above handle assembly.
EFFECT: inventions are characterized by preventing accidental actuation of the stapler.
