SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to a handle assembly and a stapling apparatus comprising said assembly. Handle assembly for actuation of the stapling apparatus comprises a first handle and a second handle, a first indicator and a second indicator. On the first handle there is a slider groove, which has the first section and the second section connected to each other, and in which the slider is located with the possibility of sliding. When the slider is in the slider groove first section, the first handle and the second handle are not engaged. First indicator is connected to the first end of the second indicator. When the first indicator rotates in the first direction, the second end of the second indicator is rotated in the first direction, and the slider acts on the slider to move the slider groove from the first section to the second section of the slider groove. When the slider is in the second section of the slider groove and is pressed to the second handle due to the first handle rotation in the second direction, the second handle is engaged with the first handle, and on the second end of the indicator, a pusher force acts on the side of the slider to turn the second end of the pointer in the second direction. Stapling apparatus comprises the above handle assembly.

EFFECT: use of inventions makes it possible to ensure prevention of stapling device actuation by mistake.
