FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for measurement of setting force at friction of juvenile surfaces. Essence: providing roughness of sample and counterbody surfaces, which does not exceed Ra=0.2 mcm. Contact surfaces of the sample and the counterbody are cleaned with polar and non-polar solvents. Flat counterbody is pressed to sample with force of not more than 10 N until formation of such force of connection when under action of own weight sample is not disconnected from counterbody. Load is removed, sample is placed in horizontal position, counterbody is displaced relative to sample and F1 is measured, which must be applied to move the sample, with the sample placed horizontally. Specimen is placed in a vertical position and fixed, the specimen with force of not more than 10 N clamps the counterbody until such connection is formed, when under the action of its own weight the sample is not disconnected from the counterbody. Load is removed, it is carried out offset with respect to the counterbody and measured sample F2—force that must be applied to move the sample at a sample position vertically. Mean value of force required for breaking molecular bond is calculated, and force of molecular bond formed as a result of setting is determined by expression.
EFFECT: high reliability of measurements.
