FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and concerns a method for prediction of fetal growth restriction by blood examination, where in pregnant women in gestation period of 18–22 weeks in venous blood by quantitative PCR method, expression is determined, expressed in threshold Ct three placenta-specific microRNA: microRNA-103a-3p, microRNA-26a-5p, microRNA-125b-5p, and calculating a regression function coefficient; thereafter, a p-prognostic index characterizing the probability of developing FGR is determined, if the value of p is 76.6 % or more, development of fetal growth restriction is predicted.
EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy and specificity of predicting fetal growth restriction at the preclinical stage; and thereby enabling timely optimization of pregnancy management and improved perinatal outcomes.
