FIELD: medical diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medical diagnostics and is intended to predict the risk of developing fetal growth retardation (FGR) in unrelated patients. The DNA is extracted. Polymerase chain reaction and analysis of gene polymorphism are carried out. An increased risk of developing IGR is predicted by the detection of the T allele in additive and recessive models of the polymorphic variant of the rs3771787 HK2 gene.
EFFECT: invention provides obtaining criteria for assessing the risk of developing FGR in pregnant Russians, natives of the Central Black Earth region of the Russian Federation, based on data on the T allele of the polymorphic variant of the rs3771787 HK2 gene.
