FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement of radiation characteristics of nuclear physics installations and can be used primarily for measuring angular characteristics of radiation of a pulsed neutron source. Essence of the invention is that the method of measuring angular characteristics of radiation of a pulsed neutron source further comprises steps of detecting neutrons from both directions on the same detector, note here that neutron registration is carried out by neutron scattering on diffuser, and differential detector and diffuser are installed at different angles relative to axis of neutron source.
EFFECT: reduced error of measurement of angular characteristics of radiation of a pulsed neutron source.
