SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynecology, and can be used for prediction of fetoplacental insufficiency in pregnant women with android obesity by determining body weight index (BWI) and blood analysis. Content of leptin and adiponectin is measured in the pregnant woman's blood; a prognostic ratio index of leptin to adiponectin (I) is calculated. If its value is equal to or more than 5, developing fetoplacental insufficiency in women with BWI more than 30 kg/m2 is predicted.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of early prediction in the first appearance in the female consultation in the first trimester of pregnancy, accessibility, simplification of the technique with high sensitivity by determining three factors in the single visit of the obstetrician-gynecologist.
