FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the internal amplification optical image receiving receivers. It can be used for registration and amplification of optical images of objects in spectral range 40…270 nm vacuum ultraviolet (VUV), with possibility of subsequent digital conversion of analogue image signal. Device is made in the form of emission receiver of images of architecture of EOC, sensitive in spectral range 40…270 nm. Inlet opening is made from diamond plate saturated with SiV centers from outer side to thickness larger than reciprocal value of absorption coefficient of input radiation at wavelengths of 40…270 nm, and photocathode from materials sensitive in spectral range 730…740 nm is located on rear side of inlet opening.
EFFECT: possibility of recording, conversion and amplification of optical images of passive (reflecting) and active (radiating) objects with minimum dimensions of ~80-90 nm, with threshold sensitivity of (1–3)×10-11W/(Hz)0_5 and current sensitivity of 30-40 mA/W.
