FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the food industry. Disclosed is a method for qualitative and quantitative determination of tetracycline and penicillin antibiotics in milk and milk products. Method involves using a potentiostat and a ruthenium modified working electrode. Working electrode provides selective binding with tetracycline and penicillin antibiotics in milk and dairy products without preliminary extraction thereof. Reproduced electrochemical response is recorded for 1÷2 s at process potential of −1.05 V relative to saturated silver chloride electrode, potential sweep rate of 100÷200 mV/s, concentration of tetracycline and penicillin antibiotics in range of 10-8–10-4 mol/l.
EFFECT: invention provides selective quantitative detection of tetracycline and penicillin antibiotics.
