FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used in treating unstable vertically displaced pelvic ring injuries. Method involves placing the patient on an operating table with a roller under the lumbar spine, reposition by reducing the pelvic bone in the direction opposite to its spatial displacement, fixation of the achieved position with an external fixation apparatus (EFA). In the frontal plane, the spinal axis is given the smallest radius of curvature to the concave side corresponding to the vertically displaced portion of the pelvic ring. This position is fixed with side supports of the operating table: from the convex side of the spinal arch at the level of the costal arch and in the area of the lower one-third of the thigh, from the concave side — below the costal arch, a plain X-ray imaging of the pelvis is performed. In the iliac wings, the rods are installed, on which the supports are mounted, in the form of ring segments, with the supports fastening elements to each other, and manipulation bars located in mutually perpendicular planes. Holding the manipulation bars from the intact side, the pelvic bone is repositioned, the supports are connected, X-ray control is performed, the manipulation bars are removed. An EFA pelvic ring is stabilized by means of an immersion osteosynthesis.
EFFECT: method enables reposition of unstable pelvic ring injuries with vertical displacement by reducing the effect of the strained retracted complex of the pelvic thoracic group of muscles and the ligamentous apparatus of the pelvis and sacrum on achieving the reposition of the corresponding side.
