FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Neutron capture therapy system includes a neutron generator for generating neutrons after irradiation with charged particles and a beam forming assembly including a retarder and a reflector surrounding the retarder. At the receiving part there is a vacuum tube connected to the accelerator. Vacuum tube transmits charged particles accelerated by accelerator to neutron generator to generate neutrons. Neutron generator moves between the first position and the second position; in the first position, the neutron generator reacts with the beam of charged particles to form neutrons, and in the second position, the neutron generator falls from the beam forming assembly. Vacuum tube is detachable to cause neutron generator to fall from beam forming assembly to reduce direct contact of worker with neutron generator after nuclear reactions.

EFFECT: use of this invention will reduce radiation hazard for workers.
