SUBSTANCE: disclosed group of inventions relates to means of measuring parameters and displaying process parameters. In the basic version, the display for displaying measurement results of the process parameter comprises an indicator, configured to change the position for indicating a process variable; a lighting source configured to direct light to an indicator; first section, configured to receive light from the illumination source and a second portion configured to receive light from the illumination source, wherein the first portion has illumination different from the second portion; a processor configured to control the illumination source to create at least one additional output modality. Also, two versions of the above display are implemented for visualizing measurement results of a process parameter.

EFFECT: this group of inventions provides the possibility to control the lighting source using one more additional output modality.
