SUBSTANCE: generating data corresponding to the bit video stream, the data comprising a plurality of groups of blocks representing at least one encoded image. Said plurality of groups of blocks comprises a first group of blocks, which includes a first row of consecutive blocks, and a second group of blocks, which includes a second row of consecutive blocks, wherein said plurality of groups of blocks are ordered such that all blocks in the first group of blocks are located before any block in the second group of blocks in the bitstream, wherein the second row of consecutive blocks is immediately after the first row of successive blocks in the bitmap order of the image decoded from said at least one encoded image, and wherein the second row of consecutive blocks is not immediately after the first row of consecutive blocks in the bit stream.
