SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely biochemistry and physiology, and can be used for modeling normobaric chronic hypoxia. For this purpose, for 14 days laboratory animals are placed in medium of oxygen decrease under conditions of normal atmospheric pressure with termination of session with reduction of oxygen concentration to 10% in inhaled air.

EFFECT: method enables optimizing the modeling of normobaric chronic hypoxia without lifting to height in the absence of mortality of animals during the experiment by individual determination of the length of stay in the hermetic chamber of each animal by gas analyzer.
