FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to experimental medicine, namely to clinical diagnostics. Rats are placed in a heat chamber, sealed, filled with a hypoxic gas mixture containing 10 % oxygen and 90 % nitrogen, and the animals are kept in this atmosphere for 90 minutes. While the rats are in the heat chamber, their condition is monitored and the severity and time of the onset of hypoxic hypoxia symptoms are determined every 15 minutes. Based on the obtained data, the degree of resistance of rats to acute normobaric hypoxia (U) is determined by the original formula.
EFFECT: method enables higher accuracy of determining the degree of resistance of rats to acute normobaric hypoxia, which in turn enables to use the obtained data for further experimental studies in biology and diving medicine.
