FIELD: protection devices against overheat.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and device for protection against overheating of user equipment, user equipment and base station. Overheating protection method of user equipment includes stages: in response to establishment of that user equipment is superheated due to inflated configuration of radio channel, first signalling is sent to basic station for request of cooling configuration. Timer is started with preset time period; determining user equipment temperature after expiration of timer time period; and performing an operation corresponding to the determination result: if the UE timer is still in the overheat state after the timer expiration period, second signalling is sent to base station for request of cooling configuration, and timer is restarted. If after expiry of time period of timer UE is no longer in overheat state, sending to the base station a third signalling indicating that the UE is no longer in the overheat state and stopping the timer; or signalling is not sent to base station, and timer is stopped.
EFFECT: technical result consists in possibility of avoiding problem associated with high alarm load caused by frequent transmission of signals at any moment in time.
