FIELD: waste processing and disposal.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed invention relates to utilization of waste refractory material at steel-smelting and steel-smelting factories. Method of recycling waste fire-resistant material at steel-smelting and steel-making plants includes the following stages: a) acceptance of refractory material, b) sifting and separation of refractory material, c) collection of refractory material. At that step b) includes the following sub-stages: b1) first sieving of said material into at least two fractions depending on first specific particle size threshold to separate fine fraction and coarse fraction, b2) magnetic separation of fine fraction, b3) magnetic separation of coarse fraction, b4) second sifting of fine fraction into at least two subfractions (A, B, C) depending on second specific threshold value of particle size. At step b4) fine fraction is divided into three different subfractions (A, B, C), wherein two second threshold values of particle size are set. After step b4) performing step b5) selecting two subfractions (B, C) with a large particle size, stage b6) of non-magnetic separation of subfractions (B, C) with large particle size, intended for separation of nonmagnetic metal components and minor components is performed.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of waste of refractory material at steel-smelting and steel-mills.
