SUBSTANCE: invention relates to maintenance of vehicles and their maintenance means, in particular, to methods for determining environmental safety of lubrication-refuelling operations performed during maintenance of machines, for example, cars, tractors, combine harvesters and other self-propelled machines in field conditions. Method allows to take into account all types of services (daily and periodical - the first and the second), which are carried out at work places of machines. At that, the main ecological indicator is "fuel and lubricant materials into soil" index, and for reference base - same data obtained during lubrication-filling operations on group of similar machines. Method can be realized by using a screen which is placed under a serviced machine.

EFFECT: technical result is higher environmental safety.
