FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of determining chemical heterogeneity of glass containers. Method of determining delamination risk in a plurality of glass containers includes making glass containers and adding of solvent from 5.0 % by volume to 50.0 % by volume of glass container. Heating to high temperature and cooling to room temperature. Solvent is combined and titrated, where the amount of the titrating substance is the volume of the titrant substance obtained. Glass containers are etched, and the second solvent is added from 8.0 % by volume to ≤25.0 % by volume. Containers are heated to temperature of 90 °C to 130 °C and cooled to room temperature. Second solvent is combined and titrated, where the amount of the titrating substance is the volume of the titrating substance after etching. Ratio of chemical durability (CDR) for multiple glass containers is calculated, where: CDR=(volume of titrating substance as obtained)/(volume of titrating substance after etching).
EFFECT: technical result is elimination of delamination.
