FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas industry and can be used in maintenance (diagnostics) of ball valves to control tightness of lower sealing element of spindle assembly. Connect the leakage control device and the rotation of the handle is pressed on the rod locking element lubrication fitting, opening its gate, whereby the gas leaking from the conduit through the lower sealing member enters the device. Pressure gauge is used to record pressure and compare its value with actual pressure in gas line, and extruded lubricant is collected in reservoir of device.
EFFECT: technical result is detection of leakage of lower sealing element of spindle assembly of ball valve.
