FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: hybrid plate for congruent cranioplasty of a skull defect consists of three functional layers, a bioactive porous layer 2-5 mm thick based on ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene with open and communicating pores 40-1100 microns in size and volume porosity from 40 to 90% with cytoconductive and cytoinductive properties, reinforcing a metal mesh with a thickness of 0.1-0.6 mm based on a titanium alloy and a continuous smooth coating based on ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene with a thickness of 100-250 microns.
EFFECT: invention provides easy adaptation to the shape of the defect by deforming the plate.
