FIELD: electrochromic devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for controlling optical switching of electrochromic devices. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that according to the method of stabilized control of high-speed optical switching of the electrochromic module, the control of optical switching is ensured by applying control voltage of a power source to it. Control voltage is determined in such a way that the effective potential difference provided by the applied voltage in the electrochromic module at each moment of the switching process is maintained at the maximum level while at the same time remaining within the predetermined safe limits characteristic of the ongoing electrochemical optical switching reaction.
EFFECT: invention ensures stability of the switching process, eliminates parasitic thermal effects and minimizes the duration of optical switching of electrochromic modules.
