FIELD: porous spherical granules production.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for producing porous spherical granules based on hydroxyapatite, wollastonite and gelatin, characterized in that a suspension is obtained from a synthetic two-component powder containing from 10 to 90 wt.% hydroxyapatite mixed with wollastonite, and 15% aqueous solution of gelatin, taken in a ratio of 1:1.25 - 2, drop this suspension into a container with vegetable oil with a temperature of about 0°C, which is stirred at a speed of 800-900 rpm, then the formed granules are filtered, washed from the oil with ethyl alcohol, dried in air at room temperature.
EFFECT: present invention provides the development of a method for obtaining spherical granules with a content of hydroxyapatite and bioactive resorbable calcium silicate (wollastonite, β-CaSiO3) that varies over a wide range, uniformly distributed over the volume of the material and interconnected by a gelatin film, where spherical granules are characterized by sizes from 200 mcm to 5 mm, open porosity of the order of 50%, microhardness of at least 17 HV and a content of no more than 20 wt.% gelatin.
