METHOD FOR RECONSTRUCTING SEGMENTAL DEFECTS OF ACETABULAR LABRUM Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61B17/56

Abstract RU 2743970 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to traumatology and orthopedics and can be used for treating patients with segmental defects of the acetabular labrum in the case of femoroacetabular impingement. The approaches to the peripheral section of the hip joint are provided via a proximal anterolateral and front port. The bone resection of cam and pincer deformities is performed and a radial capsulotomy is performed above the zone of a segmental defect of the labrum. An allograft is prepared. An operated limb is traced. A posterolateral port is formed. Two bone canals along the edges of the segmental defect of the labrum are drilled out 5 mm above the level of the joint slot and a prepared allograft is extended through the posterolateral port to the front one, is placed in a defective zone and fixed in prepared bone channels with the aid of nodeless PushLock anchor fasteners. The joint capsule is punctured 5 mm distocervically the area of the capsulotomy and the subsequent P-shaped passing of sutures from the nodeless PushLock anchor fastener is carried out through the joint capsule. The hip is bent up to 20-30°, the sutures are tied and cut at a level of 5 mm above the node. If necessary, the additional bone channels between the two bone channels along the edge of the defect are drilled.

EFFECT: method enables reduced risk of developing microinstability, reducing the time of surgery and reducing the injury of the joint by securely fixing the transplant of the labrum.
