FIELD: locking devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for locking and sealing objects where it is advisable to use a flexible connection in the form of a piece of cable, for example, such as wagons and containers of railway transport, warehouses, shops, stalls, hatches and cars, as well as transported goods in any type of transport and etc. The device contains a piece of cable, one end (1) of which is rigidly fixed in the body (2), and the second (3), when locked, is passed through the cavity (4) of the body (2) and is fixed in it by means of two spring-loaded detachable elements (5), each of which it has a semi-cylindrical longitudinal recess on the side of the inner surface, the radius of which corresponds to the radius of the cable segment. The outer surface of each of the split elements (5), opposite to the surface with a semi-cylindrical recess, is made flat, inclined and mated with the corresponding flat inclined surface made on the lateral cylindrical surface of the cavity (4) of the body (2). On the surface of the semi-cylindrical recess of each of the split elements (5), at least two drop-shaped protrusions are made to interact with the lateral surface of the cable segment when locking. To accommodate the split elements (5) in the cavity (4) of the body (2), a frame (11) is provided, made of sheet material and having side openings for the outward sloping surfaces of the split elements (5). The body (2) is made as a single piece. In the inlet and outlet openings of the body there are identical plugs (14), which are permanently fastened to it. Each plug (14) is made with a central through hole (15), the diameter of which corresponds to the diameter of the cable segment. On the side of the inlet hole, after the plug in the body (2), a washer (16) made of a metal material is sequentially placed, the central through hole (17) of which has a shape that repeats the shape of the cross-section of the cable segment, and a gasket (18) made of rubber. To accommodate the washer (16), a cap (19) is additionally provided, which isolates the washer (16) from the rubber gasket (18), in which the washer (16) is placed freely, with the possibility of rotation. The spring (20) which spring-loads split elements (5) has a conical shape and the end with a large diameter rests on the inner surface of the plug (14) located on the side of the outlet of the body (2), and the end with a smaller diameter rests on one of the ends of the frame (11), which houses the detachable elements (5). The inlet and outlet openings of the body (2) are made in the form of open grooves, the diameter of which corresponds to the outer diameter of the plugs (14), and the height is greater than the height of the plugs to ensure that the plugs are permanently fastened to the body by rolling flush with its outer surface. The groove for placing the plug from the side of the inlet communicates with the groove which houses the cap (19) with the washer (16) and the gasket (18) resting on the end, bottom surface of this groove, which communicates with the body cavity (2) through a through hole, the diameter of which corresponds to the diameter of the cable segment and is less than the diameter of the body cavity (2) and which is made in the bridge between the body cavity and the groove in which the cap with the washer and the gasket are located. The end of the frame (11), facing the inlet of the housing (2), in the position of the device prepared for locking, under the influence of the spring (20) is pressed against the end surface of the cavity (4) of the housing (2) from the side of its inlet. Flat inclined surfaces of the housing cavity are located opposite each other and at an angle of 12° -14° to the longitudinal axis of the housing cavity, a part of the convex outer surface of each drop-shaped protrusion is flat with the formation of sharp edges.
EFFECT: improved locking reliability is provided.
