SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for locking and sealing objects where it is advisable to use a flexible connection in the form of a cable segment, for example, such as rail cars and containers, goods depots, warehouses, shops, stalls, hatches and cars, as well as transported goods in any type of transport. The locking and sealing device contains a cable segment, one end of which is rigidly fixed in the housing, and the second end of the cable segment when locked is passed through the housing cavity and fixed in it by means of two spring-loaded detachable elements, each of which has a longitudinal semi-cylindrical recess on the inner surface, the radius of which corresponds to the radius of the cable segment, and the outer surface of each of the detachable elements, opposite to the surface with a semi-cylindrical recess is made flat, inclined to the central axis of the longitudinal semi-cylindrical recess, and on the surface of the longitudinal semi-cylindrical recess of each of the detachable elements, two identical protrusions (8) are made to interact with the side surface of the cable segment when locking. To interact with the flat inclined surfaces of the detachable elements, two flat inclined surfaces are made on the lateral cylindrical surface of the housing cavity, located opposite each other at the same angle of inclination of 6°-7° to the longitudinal axis of the housing cavity. The end surface of each detachable element facing the inlet of the housing is made flat and inclined to the central axis of the semi-cylindrical recess at an angle of 35°- 45°. The upper part of this end flat inclined surface is directed to the inlet of the housing. Opposite the flat inclined surface of each detachable element, two flat surfaces are made on both sides of the longitudinal semi-cylindrical recess, located in the same plane parallel to the longitudinal central axis of the semi-cylindrical recess. On the outside of one of these flat surfaces and on the side of the flat end surface of the detachable element facing the outlet of the housing, an open groove (15) is made, designed to accommodate a protrusion (16) in it, made on a flat surface placed on the other side of the semi-cylindrical recess, and oriented perpendicular upwards relative to the central longitudinal the axes of the semi-cylindrical recess. Each of the protrusions (8) made on the longitudinal semi-cylindrical recess of each detachable element is made in the form of a geometric body, one part of the side surface of which is formed by a part of the conical side surface of a straight circular cone, the vertex of which, directed towards the inlet of the housing, and the central axis are located on the axis passing along the bottom of the longitudinal semi-cylindrical recess, parallel to its longitudinal central axis. The other part, which has the shape of a quarter of a spherical surface, is oriented to the outlet of the housing. On a part of the conical side surface of each projection (8), two open grooves (19) with inclined flat surfaces are made opposite each other, each of which is mated with a spherical surface on one side and with a conical side surface on the other side. The inclined flat surfaces of the open grooves (19) are arranged at an angle of 35-39 ° to each other symmetrically with respect to the Y-Y plane passing through the central axis of the longitudinal recess.

EFFECT: simplification of the design, improvement of the manufacturability and reliability are ensured by eliminating the possibility of affecting the elements fixing the cable segment through the inlet of the housing and eliminating the possibility of twirling the cable segment.
