FIELD: storage; transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for locking and sealing objects, where it is advisable to use a flexible connection in the form of a cable segment, for example, such as rail cars and containers, warehouses, storehouses, shops, stalls, hatches and cars, as well as cargo transported in any type of transport. A locking and sealing device contains a cable segment, one end (1) of which is rigidly fixed in case (2), and the second end of cable segment (3), when locking, is passed through cavity (4) of case (2) and fixed in it by means of two spring-loaded detachable elements (5), each of which has, from the side of the inner surface, a longitudinal semi-cylindrical recess, the radius of which corresponds to the radius of cable segment (3). The outer surface of each of detachable elements (5), opposite to the surface with the semi-cylindrical recess, is made flat, inclined to the central axis of the longitudinal semi-cylindrical recess, for interaction with flat inclined surfaces of detachable elements (5). On the side cylindrical surface of cavity (4) of case (2), two flat inclined surfaces (8) are made, located opposite each other at the same angle of inclination to the longitudinal axis of the case cavity. On the surface of the longitudinal semi-cylindrical recess of each of detachable elements, at least two identical protrusions are made to interact with the side surface of the cable segment, when locking. The end surface of each detachable element facing inlet (11) of case (2) is made in the form of a semi-cylindrical surface, the central longitudinal axis of which is perpendicular to the central longitudinal axis of the semi-cylindrical recess. The opposite end surface of the detachable element facing outlet (22) of case (2) is made flat. Frame (12) for placing detachable elements (5) is made of flat sheet material by bending it to form two parallel flat sides placed opposite each other, as well as with two end sides, one of which has a semi-cylindrical shape and is made with a through hole, the diameter of which corresponds to the diameter of the cable segment. The outer surface of the other end side of frame (12) is made with a protrusion, which is designed for centering spring (17) spring-loading detachable elements. The protrusion is made with a through hole, the diameter of which corresponds to the diameter of cable segment (3), and a flat annular surface, which serves as a stop for spring (17) spring-loading detachable elements. Central longitudinal axes of through holes in end sides of the frame coincide. The diameter of the semi-cylindrical surface forming one of end surfaces of the detachable element corresponds to the inner diameter of the semi-cylindrical end surface of frame (12). Both detachable elements (5) are made with the possibility of being placed inside frame (12) with minimal gaps around the perimeter.

EFFECT: reliability of the locking and sealing device is increased due to eliminating the possibility of affecting elements fixing the cable segment through the case inlet, possibility of unscrewing the cable segment is eliminated, design is simplified, manufacturability is increased.
