FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: sealer of long sleeveless pipes belongs to the field of oil and gas production and is intended for use during repair work and technological operations on oil and gas wells using a long sleeveless pipe. The hermetic sealer contains a body made of alloy steel, which has a through axial channel for the passage of pipes lowered into the well, upper and lower flanges. A nipple is screwed into the body with a union nut and an O-ring mounted on it for mounting on a preventer. A cylinder with a hollow piston is installed on the body. On the outer side of the cylinder, under the bottom flange, there is a removable casing that forms a sealed heating chamber, while the removable casing has two threaded holes for supplying and removing the coolant.
EFFECT: increased service life of the sealing elements and reliability of sealing the wellhead at low temperatures.
