FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Invention is a method for determining the validity of porcine origin and genuineness of strain, based on detecting animal genotypes by simultaneous multiplex amplification of 10 microsatellite swine loci (SW24, S0155, SO005, SW72, SW951, S0386, S0355, SW240, SW857, S0101), using the swine DNA examination system, having all the optimum technical and functional characteristics. Also, the test system provides for DNA recovery from biological material of animals, performing multiplex PCR amplification, fragment analysis with subsequent detection of amplicons on a genetic analyser of all ten microsatellites, detection of origin mismatch with accuracy of 99.9 %, as well as determination of purebred animals without preliminary information on belonging of an individual to a particular breed on the basis of values of the Q-criterion, the threshold value of which is 85 % of the level of exclusion.
EFFECT: method controls validity of origin and determination of genuineness of strain of various breeds of breeding pigs.
