SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and for the restoration of bone defects exceeding the critical size. For this, an operation is carried out, which includes the following steps: stabilization of bone sawdust or fragments in the defect area towards each other by installing an external fixation device; installation of a membrane with holes with a diameter of up to 0.8 cm in the area of the bone defect, and there is one hole for 4-6 cm2 of the membrane surface area, and the holes in the membrane can account for up to 20% of the total surface area of the entire membrane; after 5-8 days, the introduction of the graft based on cell spheroids through the holes in the membrane using the applicator needle into the space of the bone defect.
EFFECT: method provides the restoration of extensive bone defects due to the high proliferative potential of cell spheroids in combination with the ability of the membrane of the specified structure to effectively prevent the ingrowth of fibrous tissue into the area of the defect.
