SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for preparing and performing surgical operations using mixed reality technology. The marker holder 1 for preparing and performing a surgical operation using mixed reality technology includes a housing 2 with a platform 3 placed on it for attaching markers and a means for fixing the holder 4 on the patient's body 5. To ensure fixation, the force of magnetic attraction between two interacting elements is used. The fixation means contains a pair of such elements 6, where at least one element of the pair is a source of the magnetic field. One element of the pair allows for its fixation on the patient’s body. The second element of the pair is fixed on the holder. The holder body contains four supports with a fixing means located at the ends of two of them. The ends of the supports on the surface of the patient's body form the vertices of a convex quadrangle. The fixation means is located on opposite vertices.

EFFECT: expansion of the functionality of the device, ensuring its compactness and versatility, increasing the reliability of fixation on complex surfaces, simplicity and ease of use, and thus improving the conditions for preparing and performing a surgical operation with increasing accessibility of the surgical field.
