FIELD: medicine; dentistry; telemedicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for a comprehensive study of a patient when planning and carrying out dental treatment, as well as for monitoring the patient’s medical data, creating an illustrated medical history, for monitoring clinical and operational activities, and to ensure the effectiveness of treatment. The following is proposed: a method when the first segmental intraoral photography of the initial clinical picture is carried out before the start of dental treatment, then photography of the exposure of the area of surgical interest is carried out, after which photography of the main part of the surgical intervention is carried out with detailed recording of the progress of the surgical intervention, after which the clinical picture is photographed after the operation, then segment-by-segmental intraoral photography of each preventive examination is carried out during the healing process of the area of surgical interest, while all the photographic materials are placed and stored in an archive, the method is characterized by the following: segment-by-segment intraoral photography of the initial clinical picture and each preventive examination is carried out in the volume of the frontal projection in a closed, semi-closed and open position of the jaws, upper and lower floors of the vestibule of the oral cavity, projections of the upper jaw, projections of the lower jaw; in the process of photographing the main part of the surgical intervention, additional photography of extraoral projections is carried out, while in the process of photographing the exposure of the area of operative interest, photography of the incision line, opening of the wound, gaining access to the area of operative interest is sequentially carried out, and in the process of photographing the main part of the surgical intervention, the position of the hands is photographed the surgeon at work, the drugs used, instruments, augmentation materials, extracted pathological fragments, intraoperative incidents, by comparing intraoral and extraoral images related to the same action, based on the metadata of the camera file.
EFFECT: invention provides increased efficiency of diagnosis and comprehensive planning of dental treatment, development of a reliable algorithm for intraoperative monitoring and photo documentation during surgical interventions in the oral cavity, visual presentation of a multi-stage treatment plan and its implementation, thorough documentation of the patient’s rehabilitation process, increased productivity of interaction between the doctor and related specialists, improvement of technology, increasing the accuracy of assessing dental status, monitoring the progression and/or regression of the chosen treatment, ensuring transparency of dental procedures and building a trusting relationship between the patient and the dentist.
