FIELD: means of allocating TEIDS.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of allocating of tunnel endpoint identifiers (TEIDS) using a central unit-the control plane (CU-CP) of a network node. At least one uplink TEID (UL TEID) associated with a unidirectional data radio bearer (DRB) is received from the central user-plane unit (CU-UP). The specified one UL TEID associated with the DRB is sent to the distributed unit (DU). At least one downlink TEID (TEID DL) associated with the DRB is received from the DU. The specified one TEID DL associated with the DRB is sent to the CU-UP.
EFFECT: ability to independently manage TEID allocation if the CU-UP is connected to only one CU-CP.
