SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a suspension apparatus, a suspension method for optic fiber preform and a method of manufacture of optic fiber. The suspension apparatus is comprised of a suspension part formed in a deep mold or a protruding mold or as a hole, said part formed in preform rod attached at the top side of the optic fiber preform formed in the pulling furnace, a connecting mechanism configured to at least partially cover the girth of the preform rod and to include a lever moving to both sides perpendicularly to the direction of pulling, a holding part, said part communicating with the suspension part and holding the optic fiber preform, and an engagement mechanism including a gripping part by use whereof the lever communicates, said mechanism suspending the optic fiber preform.
EFFECT: technical result is reliable transfer of the optic fiber preform in the pulling furnace.
