SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to orthodontic diagnostics. Methods and a system for orthodontic diagnostics are proposed, in which points are positioned in the patient's oral cavity using an imaging device, where the imaging device creates visualization data. The visualization data are transmitted to the central processing unit, where the central processing unit has access to a database that has information related to orthodontic conditions stored in it. The central processing unit conducts measurements associated with the selected points and the dental system in the patient's oral cavity, and predicts the orthodontic conditions of the patient based on the measurement results and information in the database. The central processing unit provides recommendations for the patient’s treatment based on the predicted orthodontic conditions.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides, at various stages of the maturation of the dental system, prediction of the future state and/or recommendations for treatment.
