FIELD: medicine; orthodontic dentistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in biometric diagnostics to select a version of orthodontic treatment in case of occlusion disorders. Mesiodistal tooth size is measured between the third milk teeth and the alveolar portion is measured along the arc along the distal surfaces of the milk teeth. Difference between the above measurements is calculated and the treatment is performed if the value is less than 1.5 mm by maxillofacial massage and diet therapy; at its value from 1.5 to 3.3 mm by using standard dental appliances, and if value is more than 3.5 mm individual detachable expanding equipment is used. As a rule, measurements are performed on the lower jaw, however, measurements on both jaws are possible.

EFFECT: by analyzing the entire replaceable occlusion, the method enables higher clinical effectiveness.
