FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a sensor system of an aerosol delivery device and to a method for tracking the temperature of the aerosol delivery device. The sensor system of the aerosol delivery device contains an external case, an atomizer containing a heating element and placed in the external case, an infrared sensor located outside the external case and made with the possibility to measure the infrared radiation generated by the atomizer, and a fiber-optic cable having the first end located near the infrared sensor and the second end located near the atomizer. The infrared sensor is made with the possibility to measure the infrared radiation received from the atomizer through the fiber-optic cable.
EFFECT: measurement of the infrared radiation emitted by components of the aerosol delivery device to track various conditions inside the aerosol delivery device during its operation.
