FIELD: construction materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of obtaining heat-insulating material (block foam glass) and can be used in the building materials industry. The method for producing block foam glass includes dosing the charge components, their averaging, forming a granular charge, introducing the charge granules into the feeder of the plasma torch of the electric arc plasmatron, foaming the charge granules to conglomerates of foam glass and spraying them onto metal molds with a flow of exhaust plasma gas. Granulation of the charge components is carried out to a particle size of 4-6 mm, before foaming to conglomerates, the charge granules are heated with exhaust plasma-forming gases, and spraying into metal molds is carried out with a flow of exhaust plasma-forming gas at a plasmatron operating power of 9 kW and a plasma-forming gas flow rate of 0.5-0.8 m3/h.
EFFECT: technical result of the proposed invention is to reduce the consumption of plasma gas and, as a result, to reduce energy consumption.
