FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and biochemistry, particularly to methods of producing biologically active substances based on nucleic acids, specifically to production of a sodium salt of DNA recovered from Chlorella vulgaris microalgae. Method of producing sodium nucleinate from microalga comprises mechanical lysing of cell membrane of microalgae, purification of biomaterial from lipids, pigment complex, polysaccharides, proteins, and so forth, hydrolysis in citrate-salt solution, disposal of cell slime and denatured proteins, precipitation of nucleic acids in form of sodium salts with ethanol, isopropanol or acetone, centrifugation, washing of the residue with ethyl alcohol, drying.

EFFECT: obtained product can be used as an immune stimulator in treating animals, as well as use in chemical-pharmaceutical, veterinary and food industry for producing preparations and products based on nucleic acids.
